SSC CGL 2016 Tier-1 Results is expected to be announced on 2nd week of October. Approximately 14 lakh candidates have appeared in the exam as against 38 Lakh registered candidates, that makes the CGL 2016 Attendance at only 36% (Lowest Ever). The reason for such a lower attendance is attributed to Computer based online exam.
SSC had conducted the CGL Tier-1 Online exams from 27th August to 11th September, while the exam for Srinagar center was held on 25th September, 2016. The answer keys were released in the 3rd week of September and applicants were allowed to make representation and challenge the answer keys upto 30th September, 2016.
Now, as per some reliable sources, it is expected that SSC CGL Result may be announced on 7th October, 2016. Though this is not confirmed by SSC and is being circulated all over the Internet and reported by popular websites on SSC CGL Exam Like Examwatch etc.but, still, there is No confirmation from SSC, on this result date.
But, still there are doubts, that CGL Results might get announced on 7th Oct, 2016, as the Commission had already finalized Oct 8 as the Date of announcement of SSC CHSL Notification. Earlier the CHSL Notification, was scheduled to be announced on 2nd July, but to make a few adjustment, the Notification was postponed to October.
