HPCL Recruitment 2012-2013 for Graduate Engineers thru GATE 2013



GATE-2013 Online Registration had just begun and its already started raining Jobs for GATE-2013 aspirants, as Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL), a major Oil  refining company of India had announced its Recruitment Project-2012 for Engineers.Under the HPCL recruitment 2012, the company had invited online applications from those who have applied Online for GATE 2013 Exam. The applications are invited from those having full time Engineering Degrees in these discipline Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics &Telecommunication, Instrumentation.

In this article, we will discuss in Detail about the HPCL Recruitment 2012 (Eligibility Criteria and Application Procedure). Interested candidates who wish to apply for HPCL Recruitment 2012 are required to go through the complete Job details below and apply online before the Last Date ie 14.02.2013

Although HPCL will start receiving applications for HPCL Recruitment 2012 from the Last week of December 2012, but the HPCL had already advertised the Posts though a Notification published on the Official Website.

Who can apply for HPCL Recruitment 2012 ?


Interested candidates who wish to apply for HPCL Recruitment 2012 are required to appear in the GATE 2013 Exam. Apart for this, applicants are required to full fill the below mentioned eligibility criteria:

Age Limit :  Applicants must be under the age of 25 years (As on 30-6-2013)

Educational Qualifications: Interested applicants must have completed their Bachelors Degree in any of the above mentioned Disciplines viz Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication, Instrumentation.

Selection Procedure: The Selection procedure for Recruitment of Graduate Engineers (GE) in HPCL shall consists of Candidates Performance in the GATE-2013 Exam (GATE-2013 Score). In the first stage, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their GATE-2013 score, after that shortlisted candidates will be called for the Group Discussion/ Group task and Personal Interview

To apply for HPCL Graduate Engineer Jobs 2012, applicants are required to follow the below mentioned application procedure.

Application Fee: An application fee of Rs 200 (For Gen/OBC candidates ) will have to be paid as a processing fee to apply for HPCL Recruitment. There will be no fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates. The Application fee procedure will be notified in due course of time

2) After submitting the GATE-2013 Online application, applicants are required to Log on to the Hindustan Petroleum Website www.hindustanpetroleum.com. and look for Online form under the "Career Opportunities" Section.

3) After that applicants will have to fill the HPCL Online form, by following the On-Screen Instructions and upload the the scanned photograph. The duly filled in form must be rechecked for errors and in case they were no errors, applicants must click on the "Submit" button.

4) After Submitting the Online form, the System will generate an application form that must be printed and preserved for future references.

India Post Office Online Registration and Application form 2012


The Department of Posts, Government of India had advertised a large number of vacancies for Postal  and Sorting Assistants in different Postal circles of the country.In our previous post, we have already discussed in detail about the Post Office Recruitment 2012 , It is a bumper recruitment drive by Department of posts, as over 10000 posts have been advertised in different postal circles of the country.

In our previous post, we have discussed in detail about How to apply for Post Office Recruitment 2012 by using the Offline OMR Application form and now we feel happy to announce that Department of Posts had started accepting the Online Applications and candidates can register themselves and apply for Postal and Sorting Assistant Jobs in Post Office.

In this article, we will discuss in detail about the India Post Office Online Registration and tracking the Application status of already submitted application forms

(I) How to Fill India Post Office application form Online using the Online Registration ?


To Register Online for India Post Recruitment 2012, you have to apply Online by following the below mentioned steps

  • Log on to the India Post Official website (www.indiapost.gov.in) and click on the link marked as "Direct Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant Examination "Register On-Line". under the Latest News column.
  • On the New page, you have to register online by filling up the Registration form.The Registration form will have details such as Name, Date of Birth, Email ID and Alternate Email-ID.After filling the details, you have to click on the "SUBMIT" button Here is the screen-shot of Online Registration form
  • After you click on the Submit button, the System will generate a conformation message on the Screen (Below the Registration form)The conformation message will read like this: "Your request has been submitted successfully and An Application Form & Instruction sheets will be sent to your email ID in next 24 hours."
  • After that applicants are required to check their Email Inbox after 24 hours and Download the Application form and Instruction Sheet.The Instructions for further submitting the Post Office Application form is given on the Instruction sheet.

How to Track the Status of Post Office Application form Online ?

Now it is possible to track the status of you submitted application form for Postal and Sorting Direct Recruitment Examination 2011-12.To track the status of your already submitted application form, you have to follow the below mentioned steps:
  • Log on to the India Post Official website (www.indiapost.gov.in) and click on the appropriate link for Tracking your application form online.Here is the Direct Link for Online Tracking.
  • After that you have to fill in your " OMR Application No." as it is printed in the OMR Application form and click on the "Get Status" Button.

  • After that the Status of your application form will appear in front of your computer Screen.

Update (An on 7th Sept): Many applicants have reported in Comments Section Below, that they did not recieve the Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant Application form by Email even after registering for the same on the Official Website. We would like to inform that due to large volume of requests, the Department is sending the email on Priority basis.So applicants are requested to wait for their turn.
