IOB 1500 Clerk Vacancy 2012 Notification Out : Apply Online

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), one of the leading Public Sector Bank in India had announced the Clerk Recruitment Project-2012 and invited applications from the IBPS Passed candidates for 1500 Clerk vacancies.The last Date to apply online for Clerk vacancies in Corporation Bank is 15th July, 2012

Corporation Bank clerk vacancy 2012 is open for only those students who have passed the IBPS Clerk Exam and have been issued valid Scorecards by IBPS .Students who wist apply for Clerk Jobs in Indian Overseas Bank are required to go through the complete Details given in the Detailed Advt at the end of this post.

Number of Vacancies : 1500

These 1500 vacancies are divided among the 37 States and UT's of India.The States/UT's that got the major share of the IOB Clerk vacancies are Tamil Nadu (728), Uttar Pradesh (145), Karnataka (85), Kerala (95), Gujarat (80) , Andhra Pradesh (85).These 6 states have the major share with 1218 vacancies and the remaining 31 States/UT's were given only 282 vacancies

But there is a reason for it.Since the Indian Overseas Bank is mostly in South India and so were most of the branches.So the candidates of South India will have a very good chance to apply and get the Clerk Jobs in the Indian Overseas Bank.

 Who can apply for IOB 1500 Clerk Vacancies ?

Interested Candiadtes who wish to apply for Clerk Jobs in Indian Overseas Bank must full fill the below mentioned eligibility criteria in terms of Age, Educational Qualifications and IBPS Score Requirement

Age: Min: 18 years and Max: 28 years

Educational Qualifications: 

A Pass with 65% marks (60% for SC/ST/PC/EXSM) in HSC of 10 + 2 (10+2+3) pattern or Intermediate

                                                     (OR)

A pass with 60% marks in Diploma in Banking (55% for SC/ST/PC/EXSM) recognized by Central / State Government or U.T. Administration.
 

                                                     (OR)
 

A degree with a minimum of 50% of marks (45% for SC/ST/PC/EXSM) in any discipline from a recognized University orany equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Govt.

IBPS Score Requirement

For General Candiadtes : TWSS Minimum Score of 120

For Reserved Candiadtes : TWSS Minimum Score of 105

RBI Assistant Exam Result 2012 Declared at 5:45 PM

Reserve Bank of India, the Central Bank of India had assessed the ability of the candidates and conducted the Written Exam for Assistants on 29th April, 2012.The RBI Assistant Exam saw a massive response from the candidates and the Lakhs of candidates have appeared for the Exam on the specified Date.The huge response is expected as RBI is one of the most prestigious Organization in the country to work with.

Since the RBI Assistant Exam was conducted in the last week of April.So approximately two months have passed and still students are waiting for their results.It is expected and mentioned in the Detailed RBI Advt that the Result will be declared in mid June.But against the Expectation of most of the candidates, the result was not declared till Date.
