The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA's) had issued the Notification for the Recruitment of 750 Assistant Central Intelligence Officers (ACIO's) in the Intelligence Bureau Department.In our previous posts, we have discussed in Detail the application procedure for submitting the Online Application for Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2012 and Now in this post we will discuss in detail the Syllabus and Exam Pattern for ACIO Exam 2012.
Intelligence Bureau Exam Pattern for ACIO Exam
The Exam Pattern of Intelligence Bureau ACIO Exam 2012 shall consist of Written test that is both Objective as well as subjective in nature.The Paper-I will be objective and Paper-II will be subjective.The Descriptive Paper (Paper-II) is basically the test of English Language.The total duration of both the Papers ie Paper-I and Paper-II is 1 Hour and 40 minutes
Intelligence Bureau Exam Syllabus 2012
As mentioned above, the scheme of the Intelligence Bureau Exam is Objective Paper and Descriptive Paper.So here is the Detailed Syllabus of what is the composition of the Objective and Descriptive tests.
- Objective Test: The Objective test consists of sections such as General Awareness, General Knowledge, English language, Reasoning and Mathematical Aptitude.In this section, Multiples choice Questions (MCQ's) are asked depending upon the these sections.
- Descriptive test: The Descriptive is nothing but it is basically the test of English Language Writing Skills. In this section, it is expected that students may be asked to write an Essay, Letter of any given theme or topic.

This is a good office job which needs some computer knowledge, and about the posting- If we are selected we can opt for the desired location, if available we will get or in every 4 years transfer is their, the starting is more than 29000/- (I think thats much enough for a family) Life in this department would be as you behave, and girls, their is nothing as this fool says. But i want to say few things to those moron that if ur preparation is good you can beat as much people u can but u doing this fake advertisement becoz u are poor student with illetrate mind who always run frm compition so from now onwards start preparing and score the merit in this exam and also someone said that this is recruitment of lowest grade post so for their kind information it is clearly shown on site that this is 2nd class recruitment with salary 34000rs and after few year you can also get promoted to 1st class by passing the internal exam etc then think what should be the salary of 1st class officer

I'm merit out in 2011 and as per my experience there will be objective question on General Awarness,GK, English Language, Reasoning and Mathematical Aptitude.
There will be descriptive type examination on English Language, just for the evaluating your command over English Language. It is essay type.
There will be negative marking in the exam except "English Language" paper.

Total time = 100 min (1hr and 40 min)
Objective paper: 70 min
subjective paper: 30 min (Precis, comprehension & essay writing)
Selection process for IB ACIO Exam consist of written exam followed by Interview.Written examination consisting of objective type (multiple choice questions) on general awareness, general knowledge,English language, reasoning and mathematical aptitude and also a descriptive type
examination in English language (Essay and Precis writing).
Both the examinations will be held in a single session/sitting.
Selected Candidates in the written test will be interviewed subsequently.

der will be two parts in d exam, objective containing 100 ques in which reasoning,gk, maths are combined and d other is subjective contaning english of 5 ques.....total duration is 1 hour and 40 minutes
